After photographing their engagement session I was pretty darn pumped to be their Stoneridge Mansion wedding photographer and videographer. Well technically I was the photographer and my buddy Ethan took care of videography (he’s pretty darn awesome). My husband was in charge of the drone footage.
We arrived the most relaxed vibe in the house. We were welcomed by a beautiful sign that was made by the brides father including the specialty writing. He wasn’t able to make the journey to the wedding so it was truly the perfect touch. The couple got ready on opposite sides of the house which made it great to capture their day.
They had a beautiful tea ceremony with the parents. Crystals mom traditionally made the bed with special sheets and fruit and nuts for fertility. They finished with a FaceTime call to Crystal’s dad to celebrate.
After an outfit change they were ready for a beautiful outdoor ceremony surrounded by 15 of their friends and family as well it was live streamed to family across Canada and China. It was magical and emotional and their hand written vows left everyone in tears.
We spent the next couple of hours with the new Mr and Mrs, around the property capturing their love and allowing them to have some time alone to celebrate their nuptials.
I feel like i’m a better person for having met these two. Thank you for your trust and I wish you both a lifetime of love, travel, magic…. and cake!
